I have been asked, "why did I choose to be a Realtor?" It's a fair question. After all, I have a background and a bachelors degree in Information Technology. Well, it's definitely a lifestyle decision. And, no, I don't mean to portray an exaggerated view of the lavish lifestyle of us Realtors. In fact, it's a tough job. When times are good the income potential is unlimited, but the there many economic factors that come into play as well as cold winter months during which business isn't necessarily booming. I do this because I am aspiring to be self sufficient, unreliant upon an employer to provide for me and my family, and I enjoy the freedom of being self employed. It's also because I believe that I can do this better than anybody else. Real Estate is a customer service oriented business. I've always excelled at customer service and have always been know as a hard worker and an extremely reliable person. And what more could you ask from the person who is to assist you in one of the biggest decisions that you will ever make (purchasing a new home) than someone who will work hard, treat you right, and always be there for you.
